Woman Pilot Scholarship
Amount: $2,000
The Colorado Chapter of The
Ninety Nines offers $2,000 to a woman pilot in Colorado to complete their
primary (very first) pilot certificate, Recreational Pilot, Sport Pilot, or
Private Pilot.
The award is for flights and
flight instruction in any aircraft type (airplane, glider, hot air balloon,
etc.) as appropriate for the certificate.
To Be Eligible, each applicant must:
> Be female
>
Reside in Colorado
and undergo flight training in Colorado
> Currently hold a
Student Pilot Certificate (if required for the certificate sought)
> Have already soloed
> Have logged at least
10 hours of flight time (dual and/or solo)
> Have passed the
written exam for the certificate sought
Application deadline for 2014 will be
announced later this year.
